Letting Your Heart Break

What Scott says

So letting your heart break is speaking very specifically to a common issue that people have in the process of grieving, in the process of feeling sadness. And what happens is we allow ourselves to feel sadness up into a point. So our sadness is filling our heart and it's as if, oh, I feel more sad. Sadness is 6 out of 10, 7 out of 10, 8 out of 10.

It is I'm feeling that. It's like my heart is in pain, like it hurts. And it's also like feeling like it's going to burst or ripping or tearing or squeezing, but it's as if there's something inside that's like pushing against an external force that's holding it in. And there's this conflict of like back and forth where it's like, and then it's like, no.

And it's like, no. And so the energy and the heart is trying to like burst open and like expand and, and the patterning and the limitations of the heart is like, no, it's too much. It's going to kill me. It's going to destroy me.

I can't take it. It's too scary, whatever. And it's fighting it. Right?

So that is where we need to learn to allow and let our heart break. And so what we can do with that, and this is a technique I teach and recommend you learn. It's somewhat simple. Is you imagine that there's two hands holding your heart and those hands are that tension that's fighting the heartbreak.

And instead of fighting it, you just very gently go, Oh, and you just allow your hands to open and relax and then go down. And then the heart breaks open and cracks open. And it's like this energy, this liquid pours out of it and down the sides. And then there's this kind of this relief, right?

As you, as the heart, the intensity of the heart and the pain and the sadness and peaks. And then as that happens, the self, the false self dies, the story dies. And so that's why we, we, we fight that is because we're afraid of that death, that, that little death, they call it. And that dies.

And then that can move us into the emptiness and the relief portion.
