The path of spiritual awakening can be a very lonely path. Often we come to it because we are the outsiders: different, more sensitive, the ones who think differently or see things differently or don't want to uphold the status quo. When we truly embark on the spiritual path, we can lose even more of our friendships. Satsang with Scott exists to answer that loneliness. It is a community of people on the same spiritual path. We support each other, connect, and synergize our own intentions, callings, and authentic transmissions into a more powerful drive towards awakening and consciousness.
What happens in the room
We meet on Zoom every Sunday for guided meditation, for teaching, and for questions and answers. Satsang means sitting together in truth. Satsang is an opportunity to drop our story of separation, soften into our bodies, and speak from our own truth inside the alive field of love and emptiness. It enlivens the core of our being, our spirit. Our own truth, our own personal transmission, comes to the foreground.
When I first read Adyashanti's Emptiness Dancing and met him at my first retreat, I felt a sense of soul recognition. I was seen fully and unconditionally. No judgment. No expectation. In that seeing, for the first time in my life, I felt relief, relaxation, freedom, and infinite potential. That moment is enough to inform a lifetime of spiritual evolution. That is the seeing the group is held in: a vast amount of space that is held and is safe and free of judgment or valuing of good or bad or right or wrong.
