What Scott says

I suffer because I think and feel that my friend died for no reason. Just like the way that I suffered, say, if I love someone and they pass away, if I see and experienced my own and the world's authentic wholeness and truth within that loss, it creates great value in the loss of my friend. If, on the other side, I don't see the truth and wholeness of the experience and I reject the loss of my friend, it then has no value. And then I suffer because I think and feel that my friend died for no reason.

But when we see that each moment and each thing all has inherent truth and value, right, when we say yes to every aspect of our life, then we find all of life has this authenticity to it.
