Awakening is just growing up

eventually you'll just naturally mature out of the self completely. And that's just what we call awakening with kids, my sense, and who knows, but I think that a lot of the struggles in the spiritual path, some of the bigger struggles with it are because of the early childhood attachment traumas, you know, that are either in this life or transgenerational, you know, passed down. Because I think that a lot of the process of spiritual evolution and spiritual awakening is just a natural process. But that process is basically interrupted because nobody can mature out of being like a 10-year-old.

And just when you naturally mature out of that, eventually you'll just naturally mature out of the self completely. And that's just what we call awakening It's just seeing that you no longer need that layer of defense and that way of getting certainty. So I think if, you know, kids' childhoods are more safe and they feel more fully loved and unconditionally loved, then they won't grasp so tightly to that identity structure, right? And then that basically decreases all mental health symptoms across the board because not all, but most, you know, there's some mental health symptoms that are probably different, but most of them are related to just holding on to your false self too tightly.

And then when it's time to begin to evolve and let go of that, they'll have the tool set to naturally do that.
