Taking your control back
So then you choose to leave first to avoid the abandonment, right?
What Scott says
So then you choose to leave first the abandonment, right? So So how do you take your control back from someone that you gave control to, right, without them abandoning you? So most likely your trauma is that if you take your control back, they leave. So then you choose to leave first the abandonment, right?
So the fear is that if you tell me this and you take control back, I will leave you. it's a very specific point, you see, in the cycle of it. So, it's like the if you look at the relationship of birth, life, death, emptiness, rebirth, right? It's in the death, you see, like you're giving your control to me, which is a form of our relationship.
So, if you take control back, our relationship will die, we will have conflict, and then we have to build a new relationship right. So, in so the trauma or the loss is somewhere in that grieving death piece where you don't trust that if it dies, a new thing will help will be born, Right. They're just learning to not abandon yourself in that place where the trauma is, make it all the way through, and then see that it connects so then you can reinforce that it's okay to give control, but also take control back.
