What Scott says

you're basically asking your body a question and you're not answering the question. So, inquiry is where we are actively trying to know what we don't know. We are trying to get beneath the surface of our conscious mind and access our subconscious or unconscious mind or body. And in a lot of ways, inquiry practices, Buddhisms, and non-dual form of therapy.

Jung said that the point of the therapist was to make the unconscious conscious. As a therapist, that's a lot of what I believe I'm good at and help people do: I'm very good at being aware of my own unconscious world and then helping. people become aware of their unconscious world And so, what we do is with inquiry practice, it's very helpful. And so, when you go through inquiry practice, you're basically asking your body a question and you're not answering the question.

So, you ask yourself the question, but you don't answer it. If that makes sense, you wait for the answer to come to you.
