Not special, a skill set
I'm not special.
What Scott says
I'm not special. It's just if you have the right skill set, then it can be also fast and efficient for you. And I ran for something like seven years from my first awakening, but once I began to run towards the awakening, within about four years, four to five years, I'd have to check, I had already walked through and begun integration after having what I call my final awakening, which was my entry point into abiding awakening. And so I was able to do that last part so quickly because for a number of reasons, but one was because I was grieving and had learned to grieve in such an efficient and robust way.
I was doing therapy three hours a week of therapy. I was meditating about six. eight hours a day on weekdays, you know, on average 12 hours a day on the weekends And then I was doing about three to four or five night silent retreats a year with Adishanti. And I did that for about three years.
And then I went to Naropa University for my master's program in graduate school. And after about a month there, I had what I call the final awakening, which was the letting go of the existential grasp in the abdomen and my beginning of integrating that shift and walking into abiding awakening. It took a lot of time after that integrating, especially the first eight months or so was quite intense integration energetically. But my point is that it was quite fast and that I'm not special.
It's just if you have the right skill set, then it can be also fast and efficient for you. And that's one of the reasons that I made the liquid armature and the theory of one and two is to define what is the skill set, what are the practices and the patterns and the rhythms that somebody needs to become very familiar with and master so they can rapidly evolve spiritually.
