What Scott says

When I was pretty far along on the path of spiritual awakening, I remember being on a retreat with Sharon Landreth, the teacher that asked me to be a teacher. And I remember one retreat, I was just sitting there, and I just was sitting there. It felt like I was just sitting and I was kind of like in the base, kind of right above my pelvic floor almost, or a little bit higher, and I was just sitting there, like a little version of me for hours. And it was as if all of these contractions and stories and memories and thoughts were just kind of floating throughout the body.

And I was just sitting there next to this. It was almost like a fire and a well at the same time, if that makes sense. And it was just like I was just kind of like, come home, you know, come home, you too, yes, you too, yes, you too are included, yes. And then every time I would see a piece, it would just very slowly just return and return.

And it felt like that's all I was doing for days, was just sitting there, kind of shepherding in all these kind of disparate pieces that thought they were unwanted or thought nobody cared or had been forgotten, right? And I think when we get right down to it, a lot of what this path is, is that it's kind of helping all of the parts of ourselves remember that we're whole, right?
