You learned to stop wanting

This is the father wound. This is the mother wound.

What Scott says

Because you never got what you want, you learned to stop wanting. Because you never saw an example of healthy anger, you learned to repress your own anger. Because you never felt fully at home, included, and loved as a child, you learned to fear and distrust the world. This is the third chakra wound.

This is the father wound. This is the mother wound. All together, they lead to a people-pleasing, anger-avoiding, conflict-avoidant person. Someone who acts and pretends to be a good person, but is actually deeply fearful of getting in trouble and is ultimately selfish.

A person that is the helper and needs a victim to rescue.
