What Scott says

Such a backwards world. From one perspective, it's like so scary and painful and so much effort and work and heartbreaking. And the other, it's like so simple and obvious and easy. And it's like, oh, that's the best thing that could happen.

Of course, I want to recover a piece of my soul. I only have to cry 20 minutes, but I get this thing I've been running, I've been lost for 20 years, and it's going to make me feel better and see colors brighter, and food will taste better, and I'll have more energy and sleep better at night just for 20 minutes of crying. Well, of course, I'll do that, right? But nobody wants to do that.

They're like, no, no, I'm not going to go through that door. Okay. Let's just let everything fall apart and the world break because nobody wants to cry for 20 minutes. Such a backwards world.

You know, I'll work super hard and make $200 and buy my new shoes, but I won't cry for 10 minutes. That'll actually make me feel better. Right? Like, okay.

You have lost the plot, right? But the nice thing about it is that's why it's so hopeful because it's like you don't have to do all this stuff to fix everything. It's quite literally like stop what you're doing, turn inward and feel your emotions for five minutes. And that would probably radically transform your life.

Everybody can do it. You don't want to do it, but they could. It's not like you have to work for 300 hours and buy this fancy thing and then use the thing. There's only 20 of them in the world.

It's not like that. It's just like everybody could do it. They just don't do it.
