It is only through failure that we can fully become ourselves. Only through the death of the false self may we fully step into our own personal autonomy, power, and transmission. Only through many, many deaths of the personal self, over and over and over again. And so the leading edge is the place where our personal self doesn't believe that we can do it, doesn't believe that we're good enough, doesn't think we will be successful, where it challenges our definition of who we are.
