Find Your Leading Edge: Where You're Afraid to Fail

It is only through failure that we can fully become ourselves. Only through the death of the false self may we fully step into our own personal autonomy, power, and transmission. Only through many, many deaths of the personal self, over and over and over again. And I encourage everyone to determine what is your leading edge and how can you make sure that you are focused and giving your time, awareness, and energy to exploring and mastering that leading edge.

And what I mean by leading edge is where do you feel uncomfortable? Where are you scared? Where are you worried about what other people think? Where are you certain you will fail?

That is the place to focus. Starting the Form of Emptiness and the spiritual teaching, more formally spiritual teaching, especially with the videos, I have searched for where am I afraid of failing? What is the hardest thing I could do? And then I do that.

It is only through failure, that we can fully become ourselves. Only through the death of the false self may we fully step into our own personal autonomy, power, and transmission. Only through many, many deaths of the personal self, over and over and over again. And so the leading edge is the place where our personal self doesn't believe that we can do it, doesn't believe that we're good enough, doesn't think we will be successful, where it challenges our definition of who we are.
