Isn't running the show

that their sense of a self isn't real, isn't in control, and isn't running the show. You can scare other people who are not ready to face their own false self, right? Or for them, they're not ready to see that the identity that they've clung to their whole lives is not real. So, when a person has a realization or when a person has an awakening and they begin to live from the awakening, from the realization, meaning they begin to live in a way that they know that their separate self or false self isn't real, that can feel threatening to the people around them or their family members, their friends, or their loved ones, because their loved ones may not be ready to see or realize that their sense of a self isn't real, isn't in control, and isn't running the show.

So, there's a lot of reasons why having an awakening and a spiritual evolution leads to increased loneliness and also can lead to increased disconnection and loss of motivation.
