Shame is a doorway
Shame isn't proof that something is wrong with you.
What Scott says
So maybe it isn't that bad. It just doesn't feel good. Shame is not necessarily something that's created. Shame is just something that's there.
It's always there. So that's everyone, To learn, to have a healthy, honest relationship with it. It's Well, that, and it's definitely there for everyone. And I think, you know, it's like it's like, oh, I thought I was something.
And then I realized I was nothing. Right? Oh, I'm so stupid that I thought I was something. But I'm actually nothing.
So in that experience, shame is the doorway into, you know, death of the false self and awakening. So I, you know, to value it as bad or see it as wrong or, you know, just kind of a short-sighted view. Right. Why is it the case that so many people that experience so much childhood trauma and intense trauma are the ones that tend to have the most ability to awaken?
So maybe it isn't that bad. It just doesn't feel good.
