What Scott says

I was living from the ground of being and visiting the fractured self. And it happened for me when I mastered this concept. And the concept was, is that a lot of this, I got it, I lost it, is that I think that pleasure is good and pain is bad, right? And specifically, just believing that there's a distinction of good and bad, right?

And so this I got it, I lost it is like good and bad. And as long as there was grasping or attachment to good or bad, right? Where I was grasping for good and pushing bad away, then I was continuing to go back and forth on this, I got it, I lost it experience, right? Conscious, unconscious, conscious, unconscious, free, stuck, free, stuck, right?

And then what happened is I recognized that there was something the same between the good and the bad, that they were actually the same thing. And it was just this story that I had told about them, this subtle perspective, this judgment, right? And when that happened, the whole thing dropped away, and my foreground became my background. My background became my foreground, meaning I began to return to wholeness, and then I would come from wholeness and get stuck.

So that shifted, right? Instead of being in the separate self and then visiting my ground of being or my authentic wholeness, I was living from the ground of being and visiting the fractured self. And then that process continued, right? But it but it changed dramatically because I was always coming back and returning to my wholeness.

So that was kind of signaled the end of the I got it, I lost it phenomena for me.
