There's no wrong way to see
What Scott says
It's not that there's a right way to see or a wrong way to see. It's just if you get stuck in one way, that's the wrong way. I can't change my anger, but I can change my relationship with anger. And that in turn will most likely change my anger.
Because the grieving sets you free. Whatever you value is what you get. That we're actually experiencing all the emotions all the time. The more that you can be in the depths of sadness without any hope of leaving it.
Just fully present is the more you can be in the heights of joy without leaving it. And if we go to war with our desire, with our longing, with what we want. Then we basically split ourselves in two. Okay, I'm ready to see what I'm scared to see.
What do I know that I don't want to know? The realization is only true as it's being realized. And then after that moment, it no longer is true.
